Feature Updates August 2021

We’re always working on adding new features and options to our platform to make property management even simpler for you. Below are some of the most significant changes and updates made to Condo Control this summer. We hope you’re as excited about these new items as we are!

Violation Tracking on Portfolio

Condo Control has a violation tracking feature that allows you to create, issue, update and resolve violations online. Owners can also respond to notices, and pay fines from their Condo Control account.

We’ve recently made it possible for users to set violation tracking rules and processes from the portfolio level, meaning they only have to adjust settings once. The settings can be applied to all of their workspaces from there. This is a big time-saving change if you are a property manager looking after multiple condos or HOAs.

See when Concierge Staff are on Duty

We introduced a new setting that will show authorized admins the profile picture and name of the concierge or security staff on active duty. Should you ever need to reach a staff member, this addition makes it easier to figure out who to call.

Better Control of Renter Data

Admin users have more control over renter profiles with this recent upgrade. Multiple residents can be added to a single unit or home so that property managers and boards can communicate with tenants and owners. However, after a renter profile is added to a unit or home, only administrators will have the ability to update pre-existing profile pictures, photo ID and group membership.

New Filters on Service Request Page

Our service request feature helps managers stay on top of work orders/service requests. They can create as many service request types as they need (air conditioning, lighting, kitchen appliances, elevator), include quick automatic responses to specific requests, and even add custom fields.

Recently, we’ve made it possible for fees to be included with certain requests. Owners can take care of these costs directly through Condo Control. When reviewing requests, users have the option to filter and organize them based on the category of the request, or payment status.

New Data Field for Visitor Reports

Real-time reports allow condos and HOAs to use relevant and accurate data when making important decisions for the community. Condo Control produces reports for amenity bookings, announcements, service requests, visitors, and more.

Users can organize visitor reports based on the type of visitor, and see how many guests, contractors, realtors, etc., visited the property last week, month or year.

Clearer delivery dates for Status/Estoppel Certificates

Condo Control’s status/estoppel certificate feature streamlines a potentially lengthy process and makes it quick and efficient. Buyers can request status certificates through Condo Control, and once they do this, a notification is sent to the person responsible for having them prepared. When sharing information about the status of the certificates, users can define whether delivery dates for status certificates will be based on business days or calendar days.

We’ll share our next round of updates with you in October, so stay tuned!
