All strata corporations in BC may hold general meetings by telephone or other electronic means. No bylaw is required. Your notice simply needs to include the participation instructions.
Current rules on rentals and age bylaws
Rental restriction bylaws are no longer enforceable. Age bylaws are limited to 55 plus only. Short‑term rental bylaws are still allowed.
Form B and Form F made easy
Generate clean, searchable records so Form B requests can be fulfilled on time and include the required insurance summary. Track arrears so Form F certificates accurately reflect money owing for conveyance at the Land Title Office.
CRF and budgeting alignment
Track budgets, CRF contributions, and projects from the depreciation report. As of November 1, 2023, strata corporations must contribute at least 10 percent of the annual operating fund to the CRF.
Depreciation report timing
Strata corporations with five or more lots must obtain depreciation reports on a five‑year cycle. The annual vote to defer is no longer permitted.
